Google Apps Bootcamp

Google Apps for Education (GAFE) are amazing tools for collaboration and productivity, and when used creatively in schools can revolutionise the way you teach.

This session is geared towards beginner and intermediate users, helping you move beyond simply sharing documents and commenting on student work. We will start out looking at simple and creative ways to integrate the GAFE suite into your classroom, and build up to looking at useful  Add Ons and extensions that can really supercharge your use of the GAFE suite.

Key outcomes for the day:

  • Discover new ways to use the GAFE suite for assessment, and productivity
  • Explore opportunities for creative use of the GAFE suite to increase engagement in your class
  • Discover a variety of Add Ons to supercharge your use of the GAFE suite
  • Create a portfolio of activities and classroom solutions to take back to your school

Our day together will be focused on hands on experiences with the tools, working together to create useful products for your personal role in school, and will have plenty of laughter and fun infused.
